There, she gained extensive experience managing complex adult and paediatric ENT cases, including head and neck cancers, ENT trauma, congenital conditions, paediatric snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus, and voice disorders. She later worked at Broomfield Hospital (Mid and South Essex NHS Trust) before relocating to the UAE.
Dr Pillai is highly skilled in advanced surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy using minimal blood loss techniques, septoplasty for deviated nasal septum, turbinate reduction, endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), and micro-laryngeal surgery. She is also experienced in ear surgery, including tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, and management of glue ear in children. Her expertise extends to the treatment of sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, vocal cord polyps, salivary gland disorders, and complicated ear and neck infections.
