Dr. Rafik Sedra is a highly accomplished and experienced Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia who specialises in lower back pain, neck pain, pelvic pain, post-operative pain, fibromyalgia, and joint pain in the shoulder, hip, and knee. He also has expertise in managing sciatica, regional anaesthesia, shoulder pain including frozen shoulder, cancer pain, chronic pain, and radiofrequency intervention. Dr. Sedra firmly believes that chronic pain is best managed through a holistic approach that addresses the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of pain. He undertook intensive and specialist training in chronic pain and anaesthetics at the Oxford School of Anaesthesia, with his chronic pain training completed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
