Optometry
About
For seven years, Purvi managed and worked in a high street practice before moving into the hospital sector, where she developed her expertise in complex optometric care. She joined OCL Vision in 2019 as Lead Optometrist and, in 2025, was appointed Head of Optometry in recognition of her leadership and clinical excellence.
Purvi has specialist expertise in supporting patients undergoing laser eye surgery and refractive lens exchange surgery, ensuring tailored assessments and optimal visual outcomes. She also carries out specialist general eye examinations, providing comprehensive care to a wide range of patients. Purvi has a strong interest in ocular surface disease, particularly dry eye, and obtained her Independent Prescribing qualification in 2020, which allows her to manage and treat a broad range of eye conditions.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
