Professor Bhaskar Dasgupta is a Consultant Rheumatologist. Dasgupta originally trained in rheumatology at Guy's Hospital and has been a Consultant Rheumatologist for 30 years at Southend. Dasgupta is the head of the rheumatology and clinical director of research and audit at Southend University Hospital. Dasgupta is responsible for founding modern rheumatology services in Southend and Essex.
