Mrs Philippa Devas
Psychotherapy
About
Ms Devas also holds a foundation qualification in couples counselling from Tavistock Relationships, supporting her work with relationship difficulties. Before training as a psychotherapist, she had a long career in the design industry and ran her own business. This background gives her a clear understanding of work demands and how professional pressures can affect mental health, relationships, and the balance between work, home, and personal life.
She regularly attends seminars and conferences to continue her professional development and to engage with both therapeutic and academic communities.
In addition to psychotherapy, Ms Devas is a fully qualified yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. She completed her Hatha yoga teacher training in 2012 and Level 1 Kundalini yoga teacher training in 2019. Her understanding of the connection between mind and body informs her therapeutic practice.
