About Dr Peter Macfarlane
Dr Peter Macfarlane is a General Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience working in the NHS, private hospitals, general practice and other healthcare settings. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1987, subsequently completing his postgraduate training. He later completed a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science in Cape Town, South Africa. With his expertise in General Practice and Sports Medicine, Dr Macfarlane began attending to both individuals and whole teams at international level and also toured with the South African cricket team. Dr Macfarlane later moved to the UK and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009. Following this he began working at Roodlane Medical (currently practicing at the New Broad Street and Tooley Street locations). He discovered an interest in Occupational Medicine and completed a Diploma in 2012. He also has particular interests in mental health, dermatology and addiction.
