About Mr Paul Hak
Mr. Paul Hak is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery at St Joseph’s Private Hospital fully dedicated the management of hand and wrist conditions. Mr. Hak graduated in 2003 with an MBChB from the University of Edinburgh, before completing his surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics through the All Wales Training Rotation. He went on to undertake advanced subspecialty training at the Upper Limb Unit in Brisbane, Australia, a centre recognised internationally for its expertise in complex upper limb surgery. He holds the qualifications MRCS (Edin) and FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics). His clinical practice covers a wide range of hand and wrist problems, including distal radius fractures, ligament reconstruction, ganglion removal, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, tenosynovitis, trigger finger, De Quervain’s disease, and sporting or work-related injuries. Mr. Hak is a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and maintains a strong interest in sport outside of medicine, regularly participating in CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, MMA, Muay Thai, and rugby.
