Dr Nicholas Bisson
General Practice (GP)
About
Nick also has significant expertise in geriatric and frailty medicine, having worked with the Geriatric Emergency Medicine Service and the Frailty at Home Virtual Ward. He is currently midway through his Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, further strengthening his skills in caring for acutely unwell older adults in both hospital and home settings.
Before medicine, Nick earned a BA in English Literature from Durham University and enjoyed a successful career in television production with the BBC, Channel 4, and ITV. His passion for medicine was inspired by producing a documentary on organ transplants. He values the continuity of care at Linbury Doctors, enjoying the long-term relationships he builds with patients. Outside work, Nick lives with his wife and two children, coaching rugby and exploring the countryside with their golden Labrador, Crumble.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
