Dr. Nermin Kamal is a Specialist Restorative Dentist currently affiliated with Gulf Medical University, UAE, where she has been serving since 2019. Dr. Kamal's academic journey began at Cairo University, Egypt, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000. She furthered her expertise in restorative dentistry by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) from the same institution in 2006.
Dr. Kamal's professional career spans over two decades, with significant contributions to both private and governmental dental sectors in Egypt. Her teaching career, which spans 18 years, encompasses both preclinical and clinical stages. Throughout her career, Dr. Kamal has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, sharing her insights through several presentations. Her scholarly work includes numerous journal articles, reflecting her deep engagement in research, particularly in restorative dentistry and the conservative and cognitive behavioural therapy of temporomandibular disorders.
In addition to her academic and professional endeavours, Dr. Kamal is affiliated with several international societies dedicated to restorative dentistry and implantology. She is also a certified trainer of neurolinguistic programming (NLP), through which she has developed and implemented hands-on training courses in implantology and NLP, particularly focusing on dentistry and temporomandibular disorders.
