They have expertise in minimal access (keyhole surgery) laparoscopic and robotic, complex open surgery. Dr Povolotskaya offers hysterectomy for cancer, fibroids, ovarian cysts and heavy periods. They also offer risk reduction hysterectomy and removal of tubes and ovaries. Dr Povolotskaya offers surgery for vulval cancer and sentinel lymph node biopsy.
Dr Povolotskaya completed their medical studies in St Petersburg, achieving a degree in pharmacology (diploma with distinction), before being awarded their medical degree from Pavlov State Medical University in Saint-Petersburg (Diploma with Distinction). They undertook complete UK based postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. They worked in some of the best UK hospitals under the mentorship of renowned clinicians and surgeons. In addition to the completion of general training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, they completed an extra 3 years of rigorous training in the Subspeciality in Gynaecological Oncology.
