After completing his medical degree with high distinction at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, in 1996 Dr Yazbek pursued residency training in internal medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA, where he obtained American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
Dr Yazbek later undertook cardiovascular fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas, USA. He worked for four years at the world-famous Methodist-Debakey Heart Center, earning his American Board Certification in Cardiology and in Interventional Cardiology. Along with world-renowned pioneers, he performed thousands of interventions and obtained multiple awards.
Dr Yazbek saves lives and improves the well-being of people on a daily basis. This is through catheter-based balloons, stents, pressure-wires, intra-vascular ultrasound and other advanced technologies. With his expertise and skills, he uses state-of-the-art techniques to open heart arteries, as well as peripheral arteries in the arms, kidneys and legs.

Using light sedation and a small needle in the hand, Dr. Yazbek performs complex interventions safely and without pain.
