Dr Nafisa Mohamed Elhassan is a Consultant in Paediatrics based in Ajman, with over 15 years of clinical experience gained across major hospitals in Sudan and the UAE. She is fluent in both English and Arabic and holds MRCPCH, along with MD qualifications from the Arab Board and Sudan in Paediatrics.
Dr Elhassan provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents, with a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare and early intervention. Her practice includes routine wellbeing check-ups, with detailed assessment of growth and developmental milestones, as well as the delivery of national immunisation programmes and additional recommended vaccines.
She has extensive experience in managing a wide range of paediatric conditions. This includes respiratory diseases such as asthma, gastrointestinal disorders including coeliac disease and inflammatory bowel conditions, and nutritional issues such as obesity and malnutrition. She also treats kidney and urinary conditions, neurological illnesses such as meningitis, encephalitis, and epilepsy, as well as common dermatological conditions including eczema and allergic skin disorders.
Her expertise further extends to ear, nose and throat conditions, acute infections like sinusitis and rhinitis, and complex haematological and immunological disorders such as thalassaemia, sickle cell anaemia, G6PD deficiency, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
