She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the Lebanese University in 2007. She later completed a Master's degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the same university in 2011, further adding to her skillset.
Prior to her current role at Boston Dental Center, Dr Abou Hanna worked as an Orthodontist at a number of dental centres and clinics in Beirut, Lebanon as well as her own private dental clinic in Zouk, Lebanon, giving her broad training and expertise.
She has clinical expertise in all areas of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics. In her current position, she performs dental procedures that are adapted to appropriately treat each patient's specific condition, taking into account their age, needs and requirements. Dr Abou Hanna uses the latest evidence-based techniques and technology to ensure that all her treatments will produce the optimum clinical outcome, guaranteeing patient satisfaction.
She has special interests in functional dental appliances (removable braces), micro-implant assisted treatment as well as combining her expertise in orthodontics and orthognathic surgery.
