During his early career, Dr. Khalifa developed a strong passion for trauma and reconstructive orthopaedics, leading him to join Rashid Hospital as a full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon and Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedics and Trauma. Recognising the increasing need for specialised foot and ankle care within the region, he pursued advanced international fellowship training in Switzerland, South Africa, and Spain, further refining his expertise in complex foot and ankle surgery and arthroscopy.
His professional training includes Foot and Ankle Fellowships in Basel, Johannesburg, and Barcelona, an Ankle Arthroscopy Observership in Bellvitge, Spain, an AO Trauma Fellowship in Dubai, and a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
