About Karly Proverbs
Karly Proverbs earned her osteopathy qualification in 2015 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with distinction after completing a comprehensive four-year full-time degree. While she treats individuals across all age groups, Karly holds a particular interest in women’s health and paediatric osteopathy. Her passion lies in providing care for expectant mothers, new mothers, babies, and children. Drawing from her background as a solicitor in the City, Karly understands the physical and mental stresses that many individuals endure in their work environments, recognising the impact on overall health. This insight informs her approach to treatment, emphasising holistic care and tailored solutions. Karly's treatment methods typically involve hands-on therapy such as joint mobilisation, articulation, stretching, massage, and cranial osteopathy. She also places significant emphasis on exercise rehabilitation, prescribing personalised exercises and self-care advice to her patients. Karly is currently undergoing specialised training at the University College of Osteopathy to qualify as a Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practitioner. Additionally, she is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner, a FEDANT registered Infant Feeding Coach, and is furthering her expertise in tongue tie treatment with Sarah Oakley Lactation. Karly Proverbs is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and FEDANT. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients, tailored to meet their individual needs and circumstances.
