About Mr Wiqqas Jamil
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Wiqqas Jamil, specialises in knee surgery and primary hip replacement at the Alexandra and Wilmslow Hospitals in Cheshire and the Highfield Hospital in Lancashire. Mr Jamil prides himself in his high surgical standards and has a special focus on increased speed of recovery following hip and knee surgery. Mr Jamil earned his medical degree from the University of Leeds and completed his higher surgical training through the NorthWest Orthopaedic training programme. He has also undertaken regional, national, and international fellowships in knee surgery and received the British Orthopaedic Foundation Travelling Fellowship. Mr Jamil is actively engaged in research and has presented his findings in a number of international meetings. He also has academic articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
