About
He completed his medical degree in 1995 at Friedrich Wilhelm University in Germany and completed surgical training on the West Midlands Rotation at the University Hospital North Staffordshire. He completed his specialist training on the highly recognised Oswestry Orthopaedic and Trauma Specialist Registrar Rotation.
He further developed his expertise by undertaking a fellowship in Lower Limb Reconstruction in Australia and a Trauma Fellowship in Austria.
In his current positions, Mr Wagner sees patients with conditions such as: hip and knee pain, osteoarthritis, hip and knee arthritis, osteoarthritis, sports injuries and meniscal injuries. He typically performs knee arthroscopic surgeries, partial and total knee replacement surgeries as well as hip replacement surgeries.
Alongside practising as a Consultant, Mr Wagner is also a trainer recognised by the General Medical Council. He has regular training meetings with GPs at Nuffield Health and also offers a basic surgical skills course for nurses and doctors twice a year.
He also has research interests in trauma, femoral fractures and hip & knee arthroplasty.
