About Dr Stephen Gardner
Dr Stephen Gardner has been a consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology since 2003. His private practice (Chiltern DE ltd) is based at the Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden while his NHS work is at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. He sees patients with diabetes or problems with their endocrine system. This predominantly covers thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders and includes abnormalities of testosterone in males and females. He does not see patients with menopausal symptoms who would usually see a gynaecologist. He can see patients aged 19 and above. Dr Gardner gained his MB BCh from the University of Wales in 1991.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
