Mr Saurabh S Mehta

Mr Saurabh Mehta is an orthopaedic shoulder and upper limb surgeon who treats patients for conditions of the shoulder, elbows, wrists and hands. Mr Mehta has specialised in surgical procedures of the upper limbs for over 20 years. He is highly skilled at carrying out minimally invasive key-hole surgeries and joint replacements. He can treat shoulder impingement, arthritis, tendon ruptures, rotator cuff tears, tendinopathy, frozen shoulders and nerve entrapment. Additionally, he is able to treat sports injuries including pectoralis major/ biceps tendon ruptures, tennis and golfers elbow and shoulder instability. Mr Mehta teaches postgraduate and undergraduate students and has previously taught junior staff, colleagues and nursing staff. He has contributed to several research publications on the topic of shoulder and upper limb conditions, sports injuries and patient safety. Mr Mehta has also given presentations to learned societies like the British Society for Surgery of Hand (BSSH), British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS), British Trauma Society (BTS) and the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (HAOST).
