Our role is to accurately identify the underlying cause of abnormal vaginal bleeding and provide safe, effective, and individualised management plans tailored to each patient. We offer comprehensive outpatient diagnostic services, including blood tests, a range of imaging modalities, and outpatient hysteroscopy within our Ambulatory Unit, ensuring timely assessment and appropriate care.

Premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) can have a significant impact on a woman’s health, particularly when symptoms are recurrent or severe. While PMS is common and often milder, PMDD is a more intense condition that can markedly disrupt quality of life.

Early recognition of PMS and PMDD allows for timely and appropriate management, including lifestyle measures, medical treatment, and psychological support. With the right care, symptoms can be effectively controlled, helping women maintain their well-being and daily functioning.

Urinary urgency, urge incontinence and genital prolapse.

Urinary urgency, urge incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse can significantly affect women’s health, impacting not only physical comfort but also emotional wellbeing, sexual function, and social life. Collectively, these conditions may reduce overall quality of life and interfere with daily activities, relationships, and confidence.

We offer a comprehensive assessment followed by a stepwise, individualised management plan. Care begins with accurate diagnosis and conservative treatments such as lifestyle modifications and pelvic floor physiotherapy, and may include medications, pessary use, or surgery when appropriate. The aim is to provide holistic support and improve both symptoms and quality of life.

1. Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy including

removal of polyps, endometrial ablation, insertion of intrauterine

devices—Mirena and Copper coils.
