About Mr Raman Malhotra
Mr Raman Malhotra is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon specialising in aesthetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery, facial palsy rehabilitation, thyroid Eye Disease, orbital decompression, facial rejuvenation, endoscopic DCR surgery for watery eyes, cataract surgery and dry eyes. Mr Malhotra was listed as one of the UK's top cosmetic surgeons in 2008, 2009 and 2010 by Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guides. After finishing his basic surgical ophthalmic training at the Western Eye Hospital, Mr Malhotra then undertook his higher surgical training in Oxford. He completed a fellowship in Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Women and Children's Hospital in Adelaide. Upon returning to the UK he was appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Recently, Mr Malhotra designed a new platinum segment chain for treating facial palsy lagophthalmos along with a new technique for treating congenital ptosis and adult ptosis. In 2007, he received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award.
