ophthalmologist at Chesterfield NHS foundation trust, where he was a specialist doctor tutor and had expertise in glaucoma, cornea, and external eye diseases. In addition to presenting research papers to his peers Mr Mathew has authored several peer-reviewed academic articles. He is an active member of several societies, such as the

European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the United Kingdom Society of

Cataract, Refractive Surgeons. He has performed hundreds of successful refractive surgery treatments.
