Mr Jonathan Ghosh

About
Mr. Ghosh is lead for the North West Core Surgical Trainee Education Programme and an enthusiastic educator of open surgery, endovenous thermoablation, endovascular surgery and workstation skills, as well as for a number of other courses and programmes.
Mr Ghosh's doctorate research thesis focused on novel strategies to prevent vascular graft failure and his MA in Healthcare Law and Ethics dissertation was entitled ‘A Comparison of Two Competing Paradigms of Autonomy'. He is active in research and passionate about it; He has produced over 40 journal publications, and has also authored book chapters, a book for junior doctors, and has presented research nationally and internationally. Mr Ghosh is a reviewer for several journals, has collaborated with the biotechnology industry and been the recipient of a number of education and research grants.
Away from work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, travel and music. He enjoys sports and undertakes full- and half-marathon events and multi-terrain runs.
