NON-SURGICAL AND REGENERATIVE TREATMENTS

Dr Imbuldeniya has a specialist interest in evidence-based regenerative medicine, including high-dose PRP (platelet-rich plasma) programmes, Arthrosamid hydrogel, hyaluronic acid, and BMAC (bone marrow aspirate concentrate) delivered both intra-articular and intraosseous depending on where the pathology lies. These are deployed within structured OrthoLongevity rehabilitation and optimisation programmes, developed collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, osteopaths, strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionists, and sports physicians - designed to reduce pain, restore function, and preserve joints for the long term.

SURGICAL EXCELLENCE WHEN REQUIRED

For the minority of patients who require surgery after exhausting conservative options, outcomes are consistently strong, with over 95% achieving good or excellent results. Surgical expertise includes advanced meniscal repair, cartilage transplantation using the Arthrex Autocart system and Agili-C scaffold, ACL reconstruction with particular expertise in female athletes requiring enhanced fixation and high-risk revision cases and second opinions, patella stabilisation, and robotic-assisted partial and total knee replacement. His hip practice focuses on the muscle-sparing Rottinger anterior hip replacement and mini-posterior techniques - designed for active adults who need a rapid return to full function.
