About
Mr Wilkinson qualified from Northern College of Podiatry in 1990 and developed a particular interest in podiatric surgery. He undertook the MPodA examination in 1994 before carrying out training his surgical training in South Derbyshire. Following this, he completed a fellowship of the Podiatry Association in 1997 and continued with his training before becoming a Consultant in Podiatric Surgery in 2000.
His areas of interest in Podiatric Surgery includes treatment of bunions, osteoarthritis, hammertoes, heel pain and gait analysis.
He is a member of the diabetic foot protection team at Doncaster working closely with Vascular surgeons in limb salvage.
Mr Wilkinson has a keen interest in minimally invasive foot surgery and is the Only Podiatric Surgeon in the North of England qualified to undertake this work.
