About
Mr Gaur gained his medical qualification at Rajasthan University in 1995, before gaining an MD in Ophthalmology from the prestigious tertiary referral institute, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He went on to train in the UK and undertook a fellowship in medical retina and uveitis in Bristol. Following this, he was appointed medical retina consultant at Royal Glamorgan Hospital where he leads the Macula Clinic for AMD, providing fast track treatment. Mr Gaur has also established a uveitis clinic for the management of complex ocular disorders. He is involved in research on medical retina and uveitis and has numerous publications. He is also a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Welsh Retina Group.
In his free time, Mr Gaur enjoys being active and cycles and hikes in the Welsh mountains and countryside.
Mr Gaur speaks English and Hindi.
