Dr. Mouhannad Shahin is an accomplished dentist with over two decades of experience in both clinical practice and dental education. He founded and served as the Chief Dentist at Marvel Dental Clinic in Syria from 2001 to 2023, building a reputation for high-quality care. Between 2008 and 2014, he also held the position of Chief Dentist at Biari Dental Center in Mekka, Saudi Arabia, where he honed his skills in advanced dental treatments.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Shahin has been an active lecturer for the Syrian Dental Association from 2019 to 2023, sharing his knowledge and expertise with fellow professionals. He is also the founder and Managing Director of Xdent Training Center in Tartous, Syria, which he established to offer hands-on training in modern dental techniques.
Dr. Shahin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Al-Baath University in Syria (1996-2001). He further enhanced his qualifications with specialized courses, including Implant Dentistry in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2010-2011), Business Administration for Dental Professions (2011), and Cosmetic Dentistry and Smile Design courses (2018). In 2021, he completed a Mastership in Esthetic Dentistry through the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry and an Academic Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from Damascus University (2021-2022).
His areas of expertise include digital dentistry, laser dentistry, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, and operative dentistry. Dr. Shahin is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS), the Doctor Smile Laser Family in Syria, and the Syrian Dental Association.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shahin has been dedicated to providing top-tier care while advancing the field of dentistry through education and innovation.
