About
Dr Das attended Newcastle University Medical School. He completed cardiology training, specialising in cardiac rhythm management, in 2011.
He subsequently undertook a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology in Toronto, Canada, achieving international accreditation. On his return to the UK in 2013, he completed an MD(Res) higher research degree at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, with the research study based at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist, specialising in heart rhythm disorders, at Freeman Hospital in 2015.
Dr Das has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at several national and international conferences. He remains active in research relating to improving outcomes from atrial fibrillation ablation.
