Ms Sudeshna Patra is a renowned and respected Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in the UK. Practising privately at The Holly House Hospital and Spire Healthcare and for the NHS at Whipps Cross Hospital (part of Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust). She is the lead clinician for diabetic retinopathy and wet macular degeneration for Whipps Cross Hospital and has gained national recognition for its patient safety and clinical governance structures. Ms Patra graduated from Calcutta Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and continued her studies with a Master of Ophthalmology from the University of Calcutta. She then continued her training and completed two prestigious Fellowships in her chosen field of Retina and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
