About Miss Rashmi Singh

Miss Rashmi Singh is a Consultant Urological Surgeon, specialising in the management of male and female lower urinary tract symptoms, lower and upper tract endoscopy, and the management of Kidney stone disease. Miss Singh is one of a very small number of female consultant urological surgeons in the country, enabling her to offer patients in the South West London and Surrey area a unique opportunity to consult a female doctor for any general urology, kidney or bladder problem. Miss Singh completed her training at Guys and St Thomas' Medical School in 1994. She followed this by undertaking diverse training in the South Thames region in all areas of general urology and developed a sub-specialist expertise in Kidney stone and upper urinary tract disease. She then went on to complete an MD thesis in prostate cancer genetics at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. In 2006 Miss Singh was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon to Kingston and St George's Hospitals. Alongside this, she also provides NHS outpatient community urology services at Surbiton Hospital. Miss Singh is often involved in presentations to local GPs and at women's and men's health events. She has written many articles for Time and Leisure magazine, Surrey Lawyer, SAGA magazine Fit for Life and GP education bulletins. In addition to her surgical practice, Miss Singh is involved with the educational supervision and clinical training of junior doctors.
