About
Prof. Dr. Michel Jabbour is a Full Professor and Consultant Urologist with more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of urology. He joined Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai in February 2025 as Consultant Urologist and Head of Department, where he leads a comprehensive medical and surgical service covering prostate diseases, erectile dysfunction, infertility, stone disease, female urology and incontinence, sexually transmitted diseases, and cancer management.
Dr. Jabbour previously held senior positions at Saint George University Hospital in Beirut, including President of the Medical Committee, Chairman of the Department of Surgery, and Chief of the Urology Division. He has been instrumental in developing modern Endo-Urology techniques, laparoscopy, and percutaneous surgery in Lebanon, establishing SGHUMC as a national and regional reference center for stone disease and minimally invasive procedures. His expertise extends to uro-oncology, male infertility, and erectile dysfunction, and he has organized and led numerous workshops and live surgeries across the Middle East.
Internationally trained, Dr. Jabbour completed advanced urology training in the USA and France. He undertook a fellowship in Endo-Urology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, under Professor Arthur Smith, followed by further specialization in oncologic urology and neuro-urology at Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, under Professor Alain Le Duc. He has also lectured at the School of Surgery of the APHP in Paris.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Jabbour has extensive academic experience. Since 2000, he has been actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and health sciences trainees at Saint Joseph and Balamand Universities. In 2013, he became Chief of the Urology Division, where he enhanced academic training through mentoring, bedside teaching, multidisciplinary team meetings, and clinical leadership. His contributions include more than 40 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and hundreds of presentations at international medical congresses.
Dr. Jabbour also has significant leadership and organizational experience. In 2017, he was appointed Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Saint George University Hospital, following his role as President of the Medical Committee since 2014. He has been a member of multiple international professional associations, including the American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, and International Continence Society. He also co-founded the Pan Arab Continence Society and has represented Lebanon in the Arab School of Urology.
He is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC). He has also served as a reviewer and editorial board member for international journals, including the Arab Journal of Urology and Journal of Endourology.
Dr. Jabbour is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
