Dr. med. Michael Stur ist Facharzt für Augenheilkunde und Optometrie. Seine Ordination wurde 1987 eröffnet. Von 1985 bis 2005 leitete er die Ambulanz für Netzhautgefäß- und Makulakrankheiten der Universitätsklinik für Augenheilkunde und Optometrie am AKH Wien. Von 1997 bis 2015 war er als außerordentlicher Universitätsprofessor an derselben Klinik tätig. Zusätzlich war er von 2001 bis 2012 Vorsitzender der Netzhautkommission der Österreichischen Ophthalmologischen Gesellschaft. Dr. med. Stur hält das DFP-Fortbildungsdiplom der Österreichischen Ärztekammer.
