Mr Green focuses exclusively on breast surgery, offering a comprehensive clinical service that includes aesthetic breast procedures, reconstructive surgery, diagnostic services for breast symptoms, and cancer treatment. His aesthetic breast surgery expertise encompasses breast reduction, uplift, implant surgery, and nipple correction. With his extensive experience in revision surgery, he is adept at advising and treating women who have previously undergone cosmetic or reconstructive procedures.
Performing hundreds of breast operations annually and consulting with numerous patients in his outpatient clinics, Mr Green brings a friendly and relaxed approach to his consultations. He is dedicated to ensuring that his patients have a complete understanding of their surgical options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
As the Lead Clinician for the Torbay NHS Breast Care Unit, Mr Green chaired the Breast Multidisciplinary Team for many years. The unit is nationally recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons for its excellence in breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery and is a National Exemplar for Day Case Breast Surgery. He is also actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons, including those specialising in advanced and cosmetic breast surgery. He has been on the Annual Review of Competence Panel for trainee surgeons in the South West and is a founding member of the South West Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons Group.
Mr Green’s training includes general and specialist breast surgery in Cambridge and Wessex, covering Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Dorchester, and Salisbury. He further honed his skills during a specialist fellowship in breast surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia, renowned for its expertise in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the field through numerous research publications and presentations, focusing on improving outcomes in breast surgery.
He is the Chief Clinical Information Officer for South Devon, and is leading a program to deliver a new electronic patient record for South Devon patients which will revolutionise healthcare across the region.
