Dr Medani completed his medical degree (MBBCh) with honours at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He went on to earn his MD from University College Dublin and completed advanced vascular surgery training, followed by a competitive fellowship at the University of Toronto, where he refined his skills in complex vascular interventions. He holds the Intercollegiate Fellowship in General and Vascular Surgery (FRCS) and successfully completed the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Vascular Surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Medani has a strong commitment to academia and surgical advancement. He has been involved in research, surgical education, and international professional development, including serving as a tutor at RCSI and representing Ireland on the European Vascular Surgeons in Training board.
