About Dr Meetu Singh
Dr Meetu Singh is a Consultant Psychiatrist who established The Oaktree Clinic to provide help and treatment for psychiatric disorders. She first qualified in 1996 from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, before moving to the UK where she undertook specialist training. To further enhance her understanding, she undertook an MSc in Neuropsychiatry.
She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the management of patients with psychiatric disorders, with a specialist focus on neuropsychiatric disorders. She covers all aspects of General Adult Psychiatry, and eating disorders, but predominantly the neuropsychiatric disorders; ADHD, epilepsy, sleep disorders, conversion disorders, non-epileptic attack disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome and functional movement disorders.
She provides a holistic approach when diagnosing and treating her patients. She aims to understand the person's whole situation and use cognitive behavioural treatments to assess, treat and care for her patients. She also supports the campaign against the stigma of mental illness.
