About Prof Mark McGuire
Professor Mark McGuire is a cardiologist and specialist cardiac electrophysiologist. Professor McGuire graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine from the University of New South Wales. He undertook training in internal medicine and cardiology at St Vincent's and Westmead Hospitals in Sydney. Professor McGuire is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Professor McGuire performs cardiac electrophysiological studies and catheter ablations for abnormal heart rhythms. Professor McGuire is also an expert in the management of patients with pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.
