So absolvierte er unter anderem ein Studium im Bereich Gesundheitsmanagement an der Donau-Universität Krems, welches er mit dem akademischen Grad Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) abschloss. Des Weiteren erlangte er an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz den akademischen Grad Master of Laws (LL.M.) im Bereich Medizinrecht.
