She completed her Paediatric Specialty Training at Makassed Hospital and the American University of Beirut Medical Center between 1990 and 1993. Following this, she obtained an Inter-University Degree in Hospital and Community Infectious Diseases from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and Université d'Auvergne from 1993 to 1995. She also holds a fellowship in Paediatric Infectious Diseases from CHU Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Clermont-Ferrand.
