Furthermore, he is the founder and former head of the Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Pulmonary Medicine at the University of British Columbia.

He is a pioneer in establishing specialised care for these conditions in the region. His dedication to medical advancement is reflected in his extensive research, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has been internationally recognised for his contributions, receiving accolades from the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute and being honoured by the Spanish Ministry of Health.
