Ms Linn Thorstensson is a dedicated Nutritional Therapist who specialises in supporting people with eating disorders, disordered eating and anyone who need support around their relationship with food, eating and their bodies.
Her work is grounded in the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES), she advocates for weight inclusivity and challenges weight stigma. Recognising the profound impact of trauma on one's relationship with food and body, Linn approaches each client with sensitivity, guided by trauma-informed care principles.
Drawing on nutrition science as a foundation, she incorporates intuitive eating to help clients listen to their body cues and create a more peaceful relationship with food and themselves.
Her nutrition counselling work incorporates mindfulness practices for cultivating present-moment awareness and self-acceptance, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to identify and transform negative thought patterns related to food and body image, Somatic Practices to acknowledge and heal the mind-body connection, particularly in trauma recovery.
Linn's practice is a person-centred approach that respects each client's unique journey, challenges, and aspirations. She designs customised programs to support clients in achieving holistic well-being, and having a relationship with food and their body that feels good.
