Dr Kass-Iliyya is Consultant Neurologist working at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience. After completing medical training, he pursued his passion for Neurology and spent several years in neuroscience research. He has published multiple peer-reviewed original papers in Neurology and Movement Disorders journals and presented at conferences nationally and internationally.
In 2016, he was awarded a PhD from the University of Manchester for his research on pain mechanisms in Parkinson’s disease. He completed his specialist Neurology training in the busy regional neuroscience centre at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield and was appointed as a Consultant Neurologist at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience in 2021.
Dr Kass-Iliyya has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing all neurological presentations including Headaches, Blackouts / Dizziness, Seizures, Speech Difficulties, Weakness, Balance Problems, Tremors, Muscle Twitching, Tingling and Numbness, Restless Legs and Peripheral Nerve Disorders.

Dr Kass-Iliyya has a sub-specialty interest in Parkinson's disease and other Movement Disorders. He is a member of the regional MDT for advanced therapies for Parkinson's disease.
