About Dr Kieran Hirpara
Dr Kieran Hirpara is an orthopaedic surgeon who graduated with a medical degree from The National University of Ireland, Galway in 2002. They then underwent general orthopaedic training and in 2013 attained FRCS (Tr&Orth). They also completed a research MD. Subsequently, Dr Hirpara completed fellowship training in ortho-plastic hand surgery in Manchester (UK) as well as shoulder and elbow surgery in Brisbane. Since 2016 they have practised complex upper limb surgery at Rockhampton Base Hospital, in addition to treating general orthopaedic trauma. They were awarded their FRACS in 2020. Dr Hirpara is a specialist hand and upper limb surgeon. Their areas of expertise include all aspects of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder surgery.
