Dr. Kenneth Buxey is a highly skilled General Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Colorectal Surgery. His practise is based at Linacre Private Hospital. Dr. Buxey earned his medical degree from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours and completed his General Surgery training at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He further specialised in Colorectal Surgery through the CSSANZ program, undergoing training in both Sydney and Melbourne, and also expanded his knowledge as an ASCRS International Travelling Fellow in the USA.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Buxey holds an Associate Lecturer position at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) School of Medicine, with previous academic appointments at The University of Tasmania, University of Melbourne, and Monash University. He is fluent in German and enjoys collaborating with general practitioners to discuss a wide range of general surgical conditions.

Dr. Buxey's surgical interests include colorectal surgery, general surgery, bowel cancer screening and prevention, endoscopic and laparoscopic colorectal and hernia surgery, and the management of pelvic floor disorders such as faecal incontinence and constipation. He is also an advocate for minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care with less invasive techniques.
