Dr Kenneth Adegoke
Anaesthetics
About
After completing medical school, Dr Adegoke embarked on his internship at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Lagos, Nigeria. During this period, he gained valuable experience in various medical specialties, spending three months each in Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics/Gynaecology.
In 1990, Dr Adegoke moved to the UK to pursue further training in anaesthetics. He underwent extensive training and gained valuable expertise, culminating in him obtaining his CCST (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training) in 1998 from King's College Hospital in London.
In 2001, Dr Adegoke began his current position as a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist at The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent, UK. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to providing top-tier anaesthetic care and has played a vital role in critical care services.
Despite his successful career as a consultant, Dr Adegoke is now semi-retired and has found a balance between the UK and Nigeria. He spends half of the year teaching and practicing intensive care and anaesthesia as the Clinical Director of A3C - Anaesthesia and Critical Care consultants in Nigeria. The other half of the year, he continues his contribution to the medical field in the UK.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
