Herausnehmbaren Apparaturen, die mit Unterbrechungen getragen werden

Festsitzende Spangen, sogenannte „Multibracket-Apparaturen“, die für die Zeitdauer der Behandlung auf der Zahnoberfläche befestigt und nach erfolgter Therapie rückstandsfrei wieder entfernt werden


Zu unseren Patienten zählen nicht nur Kinder und Jugendliche, auch Erwachsene nehmen heutzutage gerne kieferorthopädische Therapieformen in Anspruch, um ein ästhetisch attraktives Lächeln oder eine gute Kaufunktion zu erreichen. Hierbei spielen optisch dezente Keramik-Brackets oder Behandlungen mit Hilfe von durchsichtigen Schienen, sogenannten „Alignern“ eine zunehmend größere Rolle.

Wichtige Voraussetzung für eine gute Mundhygiene ist es, dass jeder Patient auch während unserer kieferorthopädischen Therapie die Kontroll- und Prophylaxe-Termine bei seinem jeweiligen Zahnarzt weiterhin regelmäßig wahrnimmt. Gerade bei Behandlungen mit festsitzenden Zahnspangen ist die Reinigung schwieriger und aufwändiger und erfordert daher eine gewissenhafte, leider auch zeitintensive Pflege. Regelmäßige individualprophylaktische Maßnahmen bzw. professionelle Zahnreinigungen können hier einen großen Beitrag zur dauerhaften Mundgesundheit beitragen. Als Kieferorthopädin in unserer Praxisgemeinschaft empfangen wir Patienten aus Ottobeuren, Memmingen und Umgebung.
