Dr. Kaan Harmankaya hat 2005 das Studium der Humanmedizin an der Medizinischen Universität Wien mittels Dissertation im Bereich der Atopischen Dermatitis bei Univ. Prof. Dr. Michael Binder abgeschlossen. Die Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Dermatologie und Venerologie wurde an der Universitätsklinik für Dermatologie des Wiener AKH absolviert, dort war Dr. Harmankaya bis 2013 insbesondere als Spezialist für die Behandlung von Melanomen (schwarzer Hautkrebs) tätig. Im Rahmen der therapeutischen als auch der wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeiten auf diesem Gebiet hat Dr. Harmankaya zahlreiche Vorträge und Publikationen sowohl im In- als auch im Ausland gehalten und veröffentlich.

Von 2013 bis 2018 war Dr. Harmankaya Facharzt / Oberarzt an der Abteilung für Dermatologie des Sozialmedizinischen Zentrums (SMZ-Ost/Donauspital), die eigene Ordination wurde bereits 2012 eröffnet. Das Leistungsspektrum von Dr. Harmankaya ist breitgefächert und an neuesten Stand der Wissenschaft: Neben der Muttermaluntersuchung und Krebsvorsorge, allgemeiner und operativer Dermatologie sowie ästhetische Behandlungen mit Botox, Fillern und Peelings werden auch komplexe Entfernungen von Tattoos und Pigmentflecken und auch Narben sowie störende Gefäße via Laser durchgeführt. Des weiteren ist Dr. Harmankaya Spezialist für die individuelle ästhetische Behandlungsmethode SkinFusion, welche er selber erforscht hat.

Dr. Harmankaya spricht neben Deutsch und Englisch auch fließend Türkisch und hat seit der Praxisgründung 2012 zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und Zertifikate in Bereich der Patientenzufriedenheit und Behandlungsqualität von z.B. Docfinder, MOOCI bzw. der Zeitung Kurier erhalten.
