About Dr Johann Lahodny
Univ. Doz. Med. Rat Dr. Johann Lahodny ist Facharzt für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe und Arzt für Allgemeinmedizin. Er ist auf geburtshilfliche Onkologie spezialisiert und war Chefarzt eines Krankenhauses. Dr. med. Lahodny ist Erfinder mehrerer restaurativer chirurgischer Eingriffe, die auf gynäkologische Erkrankungen abzielen, die speziell mit dem weiblichen Fortpflanzungssystem zusammenhängen, einschließlich Harninkontinenz und Scheidenvorfall. Dr. med. Lahodny erhielt seinen Doktortitel in Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe im Jahr 1965. Er war Leiter der gemeinsamen Abteilungen für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe am Landeskrankenhaus Gmünd und am Landeskrankenhaus Sankt Pölten. Im Jahr 1994 wurde er zum Honorarprofessor an die Universität Wien berufen. Dr. med. Lahodny hat eine Reihe von wissenschaftlichen Artikeln und mehrere Forschungsbücher veröffentlicht. Dr. med. Lahodny ist ehemaliger Präsident der Europäischen Gesellschaft für Beckenbodenchirurgie und ehemaliges Vorstandsmitglied der American Society for Vaginal Surgery. Er wurde von der Italienischen Gesellschaft für Geburtshilfe und Gynäkologie zum Ehrenmitglied ernannt. Dr. med. Lahodny erforscht auch alternativmedizinische Verfahren. Er beschäftigt sich insbesondere mit der therapeutischen Wirkung von medizinischem Ozon im Hinblick auf seine Auswirkungen und die damit verbundenen Folgen für Mitochondrien und Stammzellen.
