Mia earned her medical degree at the University of Cambridge including a Masters in Physiology and Development,  before going on to study clinical medicine at University College London. She graduated with multiple academic prizes including Distinction. She is an NHS Consultant and Dermatological Surgeon at the internationally renowned Royal Free Hospital, where she leads the largest Skin Cancer Service in England and runs a specialist clinic for skin conditions in oncology patients.

Following her initial training, she ranked second nationally for competitive entry to dermatology training, and subsequently went on to undertake extensive specialist training in dermatology at large teaching centres across London before being accepted onto the General Medical Council Specialist Register. She is recognised as a provider by all major UK insurers and sees self-funding patients without the need for a GP referral.
