About Dr Jessica Baron
Dr Jessica Baron is a highly experienced General Practitioner and Associate at Hormone Health, with a longstanding focus on women’s health and post-reproductive care. She has been practising medicine for over 30 years, including 20 years in France and Belgium, and has specialised in women’s health for the past two decades. She currently runs NHS menopause, contraception and coil clinics, and holds the position of Women’s Health Lead at her practice. Dr Baron is particularly focused on the menopause transition, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), contraception, PMS and post-reproductive health. She is committed to supporting women through this often challenging time with care, understanding and evidence-based guidance. Fluent in French, she is also able to provide consultations in French for patients who prefer to speak in their native language. She holds multiple postgraduate qualifications in women’s health and sexual and reproductive care. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the British Menopause Society, and holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as several credentials from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, including the Menopause Certificate and Letter of Competence in intrauterine techniques. She is an accredited clinical supervisor for both Foundation Year 2 doctors and out-of-hours training, and delivers teaching sessions on menopause, HRT, sexual health and family planning in general practice. Dr Baron is passionate about ensuring that menopause care is delivered with competence and compassion. She advocates for improved awareness and understanding of menopause across healthcare and the wider public and is committed to preparing future generations of doctors to manage this important area of care.
