Associate Professor Jeremy Grummet is an accomplished academic urologist wirth Monash University who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. In addition to his private practice, he is also the Director of Urology at the Alfred Hospital (Bayside Health).

This research, conducted in Australia, leverages accurate imaging to target treatment precisely, minimising side effects. Similar targeted treatment approaches have become the standard of care for other solid organ cancers like breast cancer.

I was concerned about the on-going side effects of radiation therapy which seemed to be varied depending on the individual patient.
